Reminders
I'm not getting reminders
If notifications are off, Duebird shows "Reminders are off" at the top of Upcoming. Tap Turn On, or allow notifications for Duebird in your device's Settings › Notifications. Then check the bill itself: each bill has its own reminder days and time, set when you add or edit it.
Why did a bill stop reminding me?
Duebird only reminds you about bills that aren't paid. Once you mark a bill paid, in the app or from the reminder, its reminders for that due date stop.
I marked a bill paid by mistake
Tap Undo in the bar that appears, or tap the bill's circle again to mark it unpaid.
iCloud sync
My bills don't show on my other device
- Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on each device.
- Check Settings › iCloud sync in Duebird: it shows whether iCloud is working and when it last synced.
- Give it a minute on a working connection, with Duebird open on both devices.
Will I lose my bills if I get a new phone?
Not if you use iCloud. Install Duebird on the new device, sign in with the same Apple Account, and your bills come back. You can also keep your own copy with Settings › Export as CSV.
Household sharing
How do I share bills with someone?
Go to Settings › Household › Invite someone to share bills, and send the invite with Messages, Mail or a link. Everyone in a household sees the same bills and can mark them paid. Inviting people needs Duebird Pro; joining someone else's household is free.
How do I stop sharing or leave a household?
In Settings › Household. If you stop sharing your household, the others lose access and you keep all the bills. If you leave someone else's household, its bills disappear from your devices and the others keep them.
Duebird Pro and purchases
What does the free plan include?
Up to 15 bills of your own, with reminders, widgets and iCloud sync. Pro adds unlimited bills and inviting people to your household. If you go over 15 bills or Pro ends, your existing bills keep working: nothing is hidden or deleted.
I bought Pro but it isn't showing
Open Settings, tap the Duebird Pro card, then tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with. Pro is shared with your Family Sharing group.
How do I cancel my subscription or get a refund?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Cancel in your device's Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews. For a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
Does Duebird see my bills?
No. There's no account and no server: your bills stay on your devices and in your own iCloud, where names, amounts and notes are end-to-end encrypted. See the privacy policy.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the bills in the app, or delete the app. To remove the iCloud copy too, go to your device's Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage › Duebird.
